Context
- Introduce problem scenario briefly, and how research insights informed our current solution that will be tested.
- Does any of that information resonate with you or do you think it opposes some of your experiences?
- I want to mention a few things before we start:
- These designs are not complete, they are early stage prototypes therefore not every aspect is can be clicked.
- I will provide some tasks which I want you to complete to the best of your ability. Please use this app as if you would without anyone. If you are blocked, I'll provide you some hints. I will not explain any part of the interface to you unless it's necessary for the task to proceed.
- As you are completing the tasks, I would like to ask you to talk aloud about what you are seeing and thinking.
- Provide demo run of what you expect them to do
During/after process
- I will give you sheets of paper, in which each details a scenario and a task which you have to complete.
- Remember there are no right or wrong answers, so please be candid with your thoughts and be as open and honest as you can with your comments. You will be able to expand on any pain and helpful points you had from completing each task.
- Give your first impressions
- As you look around the pages, say what you are looking for
- Comment if anything is missing, a bit unclear or confusing
Scenario 1: It's a Friday afternoon and you have just finished your second break of the day, you are currently headed back to the office to get some more work completed. You want to log in your break for today, which is the Friday, 18th of October. In recording your break, you also reflect on what you did on the break, and how you feel now.
Scenario 2: You have some time to spare before the end of your break. You want to see how your progress has been. You quickly take a glance at your break overview, over the day, weeks and months.
Scenario 3: It is the end of your Friday shift, today was a long day of doing liaison work and meeting with clients, so you've had quite a tiresome day. You remember that you are off for tomorrow, and with some time on your hands, you decide to message a close friend if you can meet up and chat, possibly grabbing something to eat.

- Ask these questions:
- Do you think this approach to burnout in social work is appropriate? Why or why not?
- Using objective results of usability testing - expand subjectively on each screen/task and why you took longer/slower (and include anymore behaviours you observed during testing)
- I have physical paper copies of each screen. If you'd like to make any personal changes to the way the application is laid out or how any screen looks let me know.

- Can you sort these cards to your liking?
- Why did you put them in that order?
